David Ruoho: Landscape Designer
David's passion for Landscaping comes initially from a love of architecture. "Early in my life I discovered a love for the artistic process of design and the act of creating something new. Landscape design provided an opportunity to create something that was going to change constantly with the seasons and over time-something architecture does not do. I love that about Landscape design." David says.
David has a flair for the sensible order of nature. With 12 years of design and construction experience, that initial flair for natural settings has broadened into designing English gardens, Native plant landscapes, Pond and water garden settings as well as the use of built structure-free standing walls, pergolas and gazebos.
"Touch, feel & smell are all sensations that bring the landscaping around a house into focus and complete a sense of Home."

Education:
David has a 5 year undergraduate degree in Landscape Design from the University of Minnesota.
A Masters Degree in Landscape Architecture from University of Minnesota.
A graduate minor in Water Quality management.
Minnesota Landscape Association Certified Landscape Designer.

Experience:
David has a combined 14 years designing and orchestrating installations for clients. His projects range from natural prairie plantings and gardens to Pergola additions, patios and outdoor rooms.

Interests/ Hobbies:
David loves to turn his backyard into an ice rink in the winter.
In the summer he likes to putter around the house and is constantly playing with his own landscaping along with the capable hands of his wife, Erika.
He loves making his son giggle and his daughters roll their eyes.
David also makes the worlds yummiest Chocolate Chip Cookie-- or so his children tell him.
